Peter Grauman graduated from Vassar College in 2011 with a BA in Biology and Political Science. Receiving the Collins Research Fellowship, he then spent a year in upstate New York developing new environmental monitoring and education programs with local students and policy makers. He then joined the lab of Dr. Benjamin Ebert, where he worked first in molecular biology and then bioinformatics, co-authoring papers in both fields. Outside of research Peter assists undergraduate students prepare materials and strategies for applying for technician positions in academic labs. With EDC, Peter focuses on recruitment strategy, connecting students interested in careers in science and medicine with investigators looking for talented technicians. Through these strategies, Peter ensures team cohesion and productivity.
